The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has been appointment as the Chancellor of the University of Calabar.
The Pro Chancellor of the University General Matthew Luther Agwai (RTD) disclose this when he led members of the council on a congratulatory visit to the Emir at his Palace.
He said the University of Calabar community were overwhelmed and happy with the appointment of Emir Bayero as the new University’s Chancellor.
General Matthew Luther Agwai (RTD) maitained that with the vast experience of Emir Bayero,the university would achieved great height of academic excellence.
Responding , The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for finding him worthy to serve as the Chancellor of the University.
” We are quite conversant with the university of Calabar in Cross River State,and we’ll try our possible best in ensuring that Academic Excellence is being Achieved “
