Greetings to all prospective UTME and Direct Entry candidates who have applied for admission to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session. We are pleased to announce the commencement of the registration process for the Post-UTME admission screening exercise.
Eligibility Criteria:
To participate in the screening exercise, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Chose Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) as your first choice institution in the 2023/2024 UTME and scored a minimum of 160.
- Are a Direct Entry candidate who selected AAUA as your first choice institution.
- Took the 2023/2024 UTME, achieved a score of 160 or above, and are willing to switch to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko as your first choice.
Important Note:
If AAUA wasn’t initially your first choice but you’re interested in selecting AAUA as your new choice, you must change your institution to AAUA on the JAMB CAPS platform before the screening registration deadline.
Registration Process:
All eligible candidates are invited to register for the screening on our university website at https://putme.aaua.edu.ng/ starting from Monday, 7th August, 2023. The registration fee is Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00) and can be paid online through the University Screening Portal. Here’s how to register:
- Visit https://putme.aaua.edu.ng
- Create an account using your valid JAMB registration number and E-mail address.
- Confirm your E-mail address by clicking the link sent to your E-mail (check spam folder if not found).
- Log in and make the payment of #2,500.00 through E-transact.
- After successful payment, provide accurate Bio-data details.
- Print your Bio-data slip for reference.
General Instructions:
i. Ensure accurate upload of all O’Level results on the portal. You are allowed a maximum of two (2) sittings for O’Level requirements.
ii. AAUA accepts O’Level results from WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.
iii. For Direct Entry candidates, AAUA accepts 1st Degree (Second Class Lower), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points), and NCE (8 Points).
iv. Candidates awaiting O’Level results can apply but must upload results on both the University portal and JAMB CAPS once available.
v. Review Admission Requirements for necessary O’Level and UTME subject prerequisites for your chosen courses.
vi. Rectify UTME subject combinations on JAMB CAPS if needed.
vii. Select correct subject combinations, including Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all AAUA courses.
viii. Carefully complete the online form following instructions to avoid disqualification due to inaccuracies.
ix. Keep proof of transaction completion for future reference.
Participation in the online screening exercise is mandatory for all candidates to be considered by the University.
Special Notice for Applicants:
a) Online screening registration begins on Monday, 7th August, 2023.
b) Candidates aspiring for the Law program must score a minimum of 250 marks in the 2023 UTME.
c) Provide valid and active E-mail addresses and phone numbers to ensure proper communication.
